Initial situation:
Increasing the efficiency and security of the data infrastructure to create a basis for developing innovative financial products. Our customer found themselves in a challenging situation as they had to use an outdated filing system with a fixed expiry date. This resulted in a lot of duplicates and outdated contract documents accumulating in the system, causing frustration and confusion. Finding important information was a frustrating and time-consuming process that desperately needed improvement.
This is how we proceeded:
- At the beginning, requirements for data mapping were formulated together with the department employees. These were iteratively checked, consolidated and optimized during the mapping.
- After successful partial migration, system tests and spot checks were carried out and the respective department team was then trained in the use of the new system and the documentation was handed over to the line.

for the customer:
- Data migration of contract documents to replace a document management system: data mapping in MS Access and data cleaning in FileNet.
- Enriching the data sets with additional information that is searchable.
- Possibility of versioning and hierarchical linking of data sets.
