Initial situation:
Benefits are currently granted nationwide via a process chain consisting of five different IT procedures. Some of the IT procedures are over 40 years old and were developed one after the other using different architectures, technologies, platforms and programming languages. This led to media and process disruptions, data redundancies and the need for duplicate entries by users in the nationwide distributed teams. Important goals of the automation and digitalization strategy cannot be implemented using the current process chain. Our task was to introduce the new IT process to the users and to develop the structure and technology of future workflows.
